My Personal Favorites

These are my personal favorites as I study God's Word from my Exegeses Bible.  These books are easy to use, require no real understanding of the original languages (like the Exegeses Bible) and are extremely accurate. These Bible study tools work well with the Exegeses Bible because they are based on the KJV and give you a look at each individual word.

Why these study tools?

* Old and New Testament Word Study's - This is the ultimate tool for the study of the original languages of the New Testament.  Each word in the Greek New Testament is represented by a number (from Strong's Dictionary) and a grammatical code printed above the English text.  The number corresponds to the original Greek or Aramaic word listed in Strong's "Dictionary of the Greek Bible", found in the back section of this book. The lexical aids (Word Studies) section provides more detailed definitions of key words (also found in the back section of the book). Also includes an introduction to each book, detailed exegetical notes, gramatical explanations, the traditional reference index (an English word to Strong's number index), and Strong's Greek Dictionary of the New Testament. * Young's Concordance - Each Hebrew or Greek word grouped together.   For example; all the words translated for love (agapao) will be shown as one group.  All the words translated for love (phileo) will be shown as another group, etc.  Most concordances list the words under one big grouping.

* The Reese Chronological Bible - See the Bible in consecutive historical chronology to see the correct timing of each passage and how they relate to each other.  Very interesting.  You can they take the time frames of each book or passage and match it to other world history events.  You will learn - who was writing at the same time a famous world history event took place, or who was a contemporary of Socrates, etc.

* The New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge - The most complete listing of cross-references available anywhere.  This excellent cross reference tool helps you compare scripture with scripture showing you passages that are similar to the passage and words in the verse you are studying.  Each verse has scripture cross references for words or phrases in that verse.   One of a kind resource!  If your serious about comparing scripture with scripture, then you need this resource!   Hardcover
